Yin Yoga and Meditation Series - with Emily Garrett
Yoga is a quiet, contemplative practice during which we hold yoga poses in a relaxed position for 3-5 minutes. The long holds access and open the connective tissues of the body. This frees up blocked energy and improves flexibility. Yin practice is ideal preparation for meditation as it both calms the nervous system and makes sitting for long periods of time more comfortable. It is also the perfect balance to a more active lifestyle.
